June Gloom

Wow June is here- time flies! I am growing up so fast. I will be 5 months old this month. I haven't gotten a tooth yet but I sure am a droolin fool. Lately I went on a few little getaways. Mommy, Gramma and Aunt Anna and I went to Laguna Hills to watch Aunt Anna run a half marathon. Well we visited all the malls within a 10 mile radius, that was fun ( sarcasm intended, I pretty much slept through the malls). Then Mommy, Daddy, Gramma. Grampa and me went to San Diego. I liked it there and Grampa played golf and Daddy visited Todd.

These days I can nearly eat my weight in food. I have had things shoved in my mouth like rice cereal, oatmeal, carrots, peas, sweet potatoes and apples all in liquid form. I think I will pass on the peas- not my favorite, although I will put up with them if thats all she has. I also visited great granddad on his 89th birthday- he's getting a little old, I think I saw a wrinkle.

Hooray! May is here! I have a good feeling about May, this month I plan to rollover many times, sleep through the night, get a tooth, laugh my head off and turn four months old. Mommy and Daddy have their birthdays in May too! Mommy also had her first Mother's day- So Exciting! So here is the first item checked off my list- laughing. Mommy is seriously so funny, I think she has learned from watching Ellen on TV everyday.

For those of you unilingualists that means three months- which means me! Wowee- Mom was quite sure she would never make it three days let alone three months, but we did. Here is the proof----

Hello world!!!

I have been trying to show the world that I am a genius for two months now and finally Mom and Dad got me on camera. So here's the proof. I am sure there will be many more such examples in my life.

Just me...

Here are some of my early hobbies. I am slightly limited so please don't judge. I am sure more usefull skills will soon develop...

Here I am staring at the lamp- a favorite activity because, "hey isn't there always a lamp around"? you can do this one anywhere.

This is me blowing bubbles; still developing this talent to see where it will take me.

I was just sitting there enjoying the nearby lamp when I spotted this hippo character... and I figured I better keep an eye on him. We don't want a wild hippo running around the house.

Not to brag or anything....

..but I am amaaaazing! I have officially been here 6 weeks. And wowee it has been exciting (sarcasm intended). I pretty much hang out with Mom, eat, sleep, cry. Sometimes we go to Target- well a lot of times we go to Target, also Trader Joes and to Gramma and Grampa's house to do laundry. So far so good. I was 9lbs and 4 oz at the Dr's visit last week and 22 1/2" long. I am long and lean- I really do have quite a svelte figure if I do say so myself. I am learning to smile sometimes, but only for a real treat, mostly I furrow my brow and stick out my bottom lip. Oh, one thing I am really hating is this whole changing the diaper thing.. What's up with that??? Hello, cold and uncomfortable over here! I am thinking they would get the point because I really scream as loud as I possibly can when they do that to me, but alas, they continue. So I thought I would let you all in to see how I am growing and developing in to the wonderful young man that you hoped I would; So here are some photos of me. Enjoy!
