New Year..........

New Baby!

Wait what? I'm the baby. Well, technically I will be one year old in a few weeks and I can walk and eat people food, but I am the baby! I thought Mom and Dad said I was getting a pet in August and I was really hoping for a Dog. I better talk to them about this and see if we can renegotiate the terms. I mean really, what do I want with a baby, they just cry and sleep, what am I going to do with that? I wonder if that is why Mommy is eating frosted flakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Or why she always looks so sad when I wake up from my naps- like she was taking a nap and I woke her up? Well excuse me Mommy. Sorry to disturb you. I will have to get back to you all on this and let you know the status.

The most wonderful time of the year!

Sleighbells, snow, silent night? What are they talking about? I have never seen any of these things! Maybe they are pretend, you know- like Santa. All I know is Mommy is playing fun Christmas music all the time, and there is this tree thing with lights all over it, which I am NOT allowed to touch. Wha? WHy would you do that to a wonderful 11 month old boy who is learning to walk? I must explore! I did hear her say there would be one at Grammas house, and I am SURE gramma will let me touch it. She doesn't care what Mommy says. Today I got a new carseat- it is super luxury! Soft velvety fabric, soft and cozy, and oh so big! I don't know who Mommy and Daddy put in that other carseat before but it couldn't have been me! I really find it hard to believe I ever fit in that thing, it's tiny! Well Merry Christmas too all. May you get many fun presents with paper and bows and boxes! May your Mommies let you try some new treats and may your tumbles be few. See you in the new Year!

This is it! My big moment. Gramma videoed me giving one of my greatest speeches to date. I would like to thank Grampa for his support throughout this speech and all the little people out there- like me! I really hope you enjoy watching it as much as I do. It comes from the heart.

Thankfully

I am always so amazed when I stop to blog that another month has flown by! Where did it go? In two more months I will be one year old! I just cannot believe how big I am. It seems like only yesterday I couldn't roll over and now lookat me I can stand independently for like 5 seconds. I mean I am thinking about trying to walk sometime in the future. They grow up so fast folks. So recently I "celebrated" my first Halloween. I felt like a movie star. I wore this cool costume and everyone was taking my picture. Well thats not too different from every other day, except I was wearing a costume! I got to go in a firetruck. Not every baby gets to do that. We'll catch up more later- I gotta split. Yo! My name is Samuel and I'm here to say... I love to dance in a different way! I move to the beat. but not with my feet. I bounce up and down like a little Chris Brown! Yeeeeah Boyee! Also I went to the pumpkin patch- this place is crazy. They have pumpkins that are so big you could carve it out and I could play inside! I liked it and I got dressed so cute to have my picture taken. This is me is my fancy duds. Here I am with the Biiig pumpkins- whoa! So many pumpkins! I hope they can't come to life! Already????

Wow! October is half over already! Yeeash! This year is going by so fast- the other day I was sitting at the table eating my breakfast- pancake yummy- and Daddy says to me, "Are you going to be ready for a cake in three months?". Three months? Wha? no! I better get busy, no more liquid food for me. Only chunky. Goodbye Pureed carrots. Hello beef stew! So in case you didn't recieve the bulletin- I am standing now. I pull myself up all over the place and I throw all the stuff off the coffee table, that is so fun! I don't know why. I also wave Bye Bye and Hi. And I can say Mamama and Da da da. But my favorite thing to say is Duh! It is the hip thing to do now- you just leave off the end consonant sound. Instead of Mom- Ma Dad- Da What- Wha Duck- Duh Get it? I am really looking forward to the fall season- I heard it gets cold, like 60 degrees! Well I better go practice my eating and standing~ Smooch! Samuel

I am such a big boy now! Let me tell you. I am into everything. I can push myself into sitting positon from my tummy; I can close the cupboard doors (although mommy says thankfully I can't open them); I eat and sleep on a lovely schedule; I wear size 12 months; and what else... oh yeah I got 5 new teeth last week!!! That was rough. Pretty soon I will have a really grin and not just gums showing. So I am including some photos and vidoes of moi! I really hope you enjoy them.
